READing Paws Training April 18, 2020

Happy Tails is looking for new members for READing Paws. Cats and dogs are eligible. The dog or cat must like children and be able to lie down for 15 minutes at a time. It is a good visit for an older pet and not for pets that like a lot of action.

In addition to this RSVP for training, please email Pat Johnston (patj24@belltsouth.net) and provide the following information for your registration: 

• Name
• Phone Number
• Pet's name and type of pet
• Pet's training (i.e. obedience, CGC)
• Team Leader training completed (yes or no; if no - please see information below)

Team Leader Training

There will be Team Leader training held immediately before this READing Paws training session, so if you haven't completed TL training yet, you can sign up for that as well and complete it all in the same day.  The requirements for TL training are: 

• HT member must have been an active member in good standing for at least 6 months
• HT member must be a member of a regularly visiting team and completed at least 6 visits in the past 6 months

Marist School is located inside the perimeter at Ashford Dunwoody Road.  The address is 3790 Ashford Dunwoody Road, NE  Atlanta, GA 30319-1899. As you enter from Ashford Dunwoody Road - - (watch for the speed bumps) you will pass the security booth on your right and the athletic fields on your right. The buildings of the school will be on your left as you drive down the long main driveway called “Ivy Street”.  As you continue, Woolridge Center is in Building M which will be on the left and parking lot K on the right.  Park in lot K and walk back to Woolridge Center.  Enter Woodridge Center at the doorway closest to the parking lot -the one at the back of the side of the building facing the athletic fields.  There will be a sign on the outside door to help guide you. 

Come inside the building and go to the 1st door on your right - that will be the Father Colin Room.  There will also be a sign on this door.

Please do not bring your pets to this training.  

READ Training takes about 5 hours, please plan accordingly.
