About the event
After passing your Pet/Handler Evaluation, the next step is Volunteer Training. This is a 2-hour session that covers:
Responsibilities of volunteers
Types of client facilities and populations to help you select the right visit for your pet
Policies regarding safety, infection control and other topics to ensure a successful volunteer experience
*This meeting is for handlers only; please do not bring your pet. Arrive promptly at noon as this course is a full 2 hours of content.
